If you love children and nature, this position may be perfect for you! Notchcliff Nature Programs is the "lab" forest school for the nonprofit Association for Nature-Based Education and operates in partnership with a Baltimore area retirement community.

Summary

Our playful, immersive outdoor program is a wonderful way for children to make lasting connections with the natural world as their forest preschool or home school study. Essential social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills grow as does love for the natural world! We cultivate gratitude, empathy, and appreciation of our diverse community and we honor our elders through an intergenerational approach with residents at Glen Meadows Retirement Community.

Position works with children ages birth through ten years, depending on the class. Notchcliff Nature Programs is a project of the nonprofit Association for Nature-Based Education (anbe.org). You can learn more about Notchcliff at naturalcommunity.org.

Current opening is for a Lead Teacher/Guide in the Forest Preschool on Tues./Thurs. from approximately 8:30am - 1:30pm and on Wednesdays for the Homeschool in the Forest program (grades K-2nd with emphasis on Wild Math and Outdoor Cooking) from 8am - 4pm, plus additional planning hours.
