This unique, full-time role offers the opportunity to split your time between leading a small, nature-based classroom and helping shape a vibrant community learning space at B-street. You’ll engage in hands-on, outdoor education with children while also contributing to meaningful community programming, restoration work, and partnership-building. With dedicated planning time, opportunities for creativity and leadership, and a collaborative, mission-driven team, this position is ideal for someone who wants to blend teaching, land-based work, and community impact in a deeply meaningful way.

Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and heart-centered educator to join our team in a full-time, blended role that combines teaching, program coordination, and community-based work.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both hands-on learning environments with children and program development, and who is excited to help grow a vibrant, community-centered educational space.

We are especially excited to welcome someone who is bilingual or multilingual and inspired to bring language and cultural learning into our daily rhythms in meaningful, joyful, and integrated ways.

Who You Are

  • You are equally comfortable leading a group of children in the forest and coordinating a community event
  • You are passionate about language, culture, and community connection
  • You take initiative and follow through
  • You value connection, equity, and inclusive practices

Why This Role Matters

This position plays a vital role in weaving together our education programs, community initiatives, and commitment to cultural and linguistic inclusion. You will help shape both the daily experiences of children and the broader impact of our work in the community.
