We're looking for an Interpretation and Exhibits Educator excited about inspiring meaningful connections among people, plants, and nature in one of the most beautiful settings in Maine.

The Interpretation and Exhibits Educator engages guests of all ages and backgrounds through a variety of interpretive strategies that include signage, tours, and live interpretation throughout the Gardens including at Discovery Carts, the Native Butterfly House, and the Learning Apiary. This position also participates with other Interpretation & Exhibits team members in long-term interpretive planning, special events, and partnerships with outside organizations. Additionally, they support the Education Department with departmental data management. As a key member of the Education Department team during the busy summer season, the Educator will support other departmental programming such as registration of adult education programming when needed. 

Typically works 9am-5pm with an expectation to consistently work one weekend day in a five-day work week during our open season (May-October).

Compensation Information

Full-time, year-round, hourly non-exempt
