As a Guest Engagement Specialist, you will work within the education department to maximize the effectiveness of the Virginia Zoo’s interpretive and guest engagement programs. The Guest Engagement Specialist reports to the Conservation Engagement Manager and assists the educational management team with program development and by providing the essential educational research and resources necessary for success. This position also contributes to the development, scheduling, training, and evaluation of all guest engagement programs, including but not limited to daily Zoo interpretive programs, the teen volunteer program Conservation Youth Team, scheduled toddler programs, and Zoo-wide events.

Compensation Information

$15.50-$17.25/hour. This is a part-time, non-exempt position (25-32 hours/week).
