Finance Director

The Finance Director is responsible for the budget ($2.3-million in 2023), accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial development, to support Camp’s strategic plan. As a part of the nine-person management team, the Finance Director shares in the oversight and support of all of Camp Ocean Pines operations. The Finance Director reports to the Executive Director, who in turn reports to a Board of Directors. 

The Finance Director must execute financial processes across multiple departments, coordinate with outside services such as auditors and financial institutions, and maintain policies and procedures in compliance with GAAP. They must have strong communication, leadership, and relationship skills. Applicants must have a commitment to equity and inclusion, creating a positive community work culture, and a commitment to the goals and philosophy of Camp Ocean Pines. Applicants must have at least three years of experience in financial management, preferably in a senior role. The position requires advanced computer skills, with proficiency in QuickBooks and Google Suite.
