Fall Youth Leader

Groundwork is where Justice and the Environment meet. We engage youth, neighborhood residents, and local organizations in projects that improve the quality of life of people and the natural environment. As part of the Groundwork USA network and the National Park Service, we create programs and projects that address community needs. We focus on environmental education, career readiness, participatory planning processes for the public to improve water /air quality, revitalize public spaces, plant trees and edible gardens, build trails, and create jobs. 

Groundwork is seeking highly motivated candidates for ‘Youth Leader’ positions with the Green Team workforce development program. The Green Team program employs youth 14-18 years old to complete community-based environmental initiatives while training the youth in soft skills, environmental science, outdoor recreation, and environmental careers. The primary role of the Youth Leader is to lead day to day activities and professional development of the Green Team.
