Graduate Institute of Sustainability Management and Environmental Education at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) is seeking applications to fill one tenure or non-tenure track faculty position at all ranks starting from February 1st, 2024. The positions are expected to strengthen the institute’s capacity for sustainability management and environmental education, in response to the issues of climate change and global sustainability, and the need to develop innovative solutions for achieving sustainability goals. Applicants who hold a Ph.D. in related disciplines and have a great potential for interdisciplinary collaboration are invited to apply.

Summary

Graduate Institute of Sustainability Management and Environmental Education at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) is seeking applications to fill one tenure or non-tenure track faculty position at all ranks starting from February 1st, 2024. The positions are expected to strengthen the institute’s capacity for sustainability management and environmental education, in response to the issues of climate change and global sustainability, and the need to develop innovative solutions for achieving sustainability goals. Applicants who hold a Ph.D. in related disciplines and have a great potential for interdisciplinary collaboration are invited to apply.

1.    Job title: Tenure or non-tenure track faculty positions at all ranks
2.    Academic requirements: The applicant should hold a Ph.D. from the disciplines related (but not limited) to sustainability management and/or environmental education.
3.    Academic expertise and attributes: Specializing in any dimensions of sustainability management and/or environmental education, including sustainability science, natural science, social science, and other interdisciplinary fields, with strong ambition in scientific research, teaching, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

(1).    Cover letter with statements of teaching and research interests,
(2).    Curriculum vitae,
(3).    A copy of Ph.D. diploma,
(4).    List of academic publications (mark one representative publication),
(5).    Three recommendation letters (One of the three recommendation letters should be from the applicant’s Ph.D. supervisor. If this is not available because of any reason, explanations should be offered by the applicant.) The Three recommendation letters should be sent separately and directly to Professor Wei-Ta Fang, the Director of the Graduate Institute of Sustainability Management and Environmental Education, National Taiwan Normal University, via post or email (gie@deps.ntnu.edu.tw).
