The Friends of Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument is seeking a dynamic, dedicated Executive Director to take our organization to the next levels of success and impact. This small and thriving organization works in a close, friendly partnership with the Bureau of Land Management, the National Conservation Lands System, and other local and national conservation groups to increase public awareness of the Monument’s unique biological diversity, landscape, and cultural history.

Summary

Position Title:  Executive Director
Status:  Part-time to full-time, exempt position, depending on qualification
Salary Range:  $22.00/hr  -  $28.00/hr, depending on experience

Position Description
The Executive Director is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the organization according to the strategic directions set by the Board of Directors.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Executive Director performs some or all of the following:

Knowledge of leadership and management principles as they relate to non-profit organizations
Experience in community leadership / advocacy

Strong public speaker
Proven fundraising track record
Nimble project manager and ability to work remotely 
Good budget management skills
Experience in team building and managing people
Working knowledge of Square Space or similar website programs
Comfortable with Social Media platforms

Qualifications

BS or MS degree or relevant job experiences in related fields such as environmental management, environmental science, natural resource management, or community organizing.
