About Four Youth
Four Youth Productions is a Wilmington-based nonprofit dedicated to inspiring curiosity and creativity through hands-on STEAM learning. We serve students in grades K–8, blending environmental science, art, and engineering into programs that empower youth to connect with nature and their communities.
Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and flexible Environmental Science Curriculum Developer to design and implement engaging lessons and activities for students across our partner locations. This individual will create lesson plans, develop classroom materials, and design presentations for daily programming. Each school community is unique, so adaptability and creativity are essential.
As part of a small nonprofit team, this position requires a collaborative spirit and a willingness to “roll up your sleeves.” Beyond curriculum design, the role includes classroom preparation, light cleaning, budgeting for materials, and occasional purchasing of supplies.
The Curriculum Developer will also teach during after-school classes, weekday sessions, and occasional Saturday programs. When Saturday sessions are scheduled, the individual may work from home on Fridays. Work-from-home flexibility is situational and based on program needs. Please email your resume and cover letter to our Executive Director, Theresa Emmett, at
