Summary
The Nature Museum is seeking a part-time environmental educator to help us bring nature-based experiences to people of all ages. Our team is passionate about connecting people to nature, teaching folks of diverse backgrounds, and creating fun, engaging programs and events. And we love being outdoors and learning about wildlife, plants, and ecology. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply!
The educator will collaborate with the staff team to design and implement programming of all types throughout the year, and additionally, will take some lead roles in our communications and marketing efforts. The ability to work independently, stay organized, propose and implement creative projects, and wear many “hats” is greatly valued at this small non-profit.
Compensation is $20/hr. Average of 20 hours per week (with up to 40 during summer camp weeks in late June, July, and early August or for specific events). Flexible schedule, including some remote work if desired. Some weekend work will be required.
