Summary
We are looking for a flexible, community-oriented, energetic, enthusiastic, and caring individual to join our team as our environmental educator. With a focus on food systems and the environment, our education programs aim to get children outside engaging with nature, growing food, and building community. Through our weekly school outreach programs, after school, and community programs, our environmental educator will develop and lead programs that are immersive and connect learners of all ages to the land, to their food, and to each other. Compensation Information
This position is a part-time, hourly position starting at 28-32 hours/week with a starting hourly rate of $17/hour with the potential to grow to 40 hours/week. Taproot uses a 90-day training timeframe followed by an evaluation for all new employees to ensure a good fit overall. Upon the successful training period, the employee will be eligible to receive the following benefits:
