Summary

The Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge Trust, Inc. (Trust) and Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge (refuge) are hiring three Environmental Education Interns for paid full-time positions. Join our Visitor Services and Outreach Team and play an integral role at this thriving urban refuge where nature connects people, communities and wildlife! 

As an Environmental Education Intern, you’d participate in a nine-month practical training program focused on leading field trips for K-8th grade students, partnership coordination and program development. It includes supporting the visitor center, creating content for social media and website and working one weekend day and occasional evenings.

Compensation Information

These positions are full-time, paid $17.57/hour and include benefits (PTO, federal holidays, health and dental insurance, employee match to 401k, life and disability insurance). The interns will be employees of the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge Trust, Inc., a nonprofit partner of the refuge.
