CYO Environmental Education at Camp Hamilton brings 5th and 6th grade classes out 5 days a week for an immersion experience in a secluded and beautiful wilderness setting during 6 weeks of the spring. The Head Cook will plan and coordinate the food service program at Camp Hamilton. You will take on the exciting challenge of creating a healthy meal plan that interests youth.
Summary
At Camp Hamilton on lovely Lake Hannan between Duvall and Monroe, you will spend time creating delicious meals, training and instructing your kitchen staff, and enjoying the beautiful rustic setting. Camp runs Monday- Friday for about 6 weeks in April and May.
Compensation Information
The Head Cook is paid a daily rate as a seasonal employee that comes to between $1,500-$2,500/month. We provide living space in common cabins at Camp Hamilton. We provide board on weekdays and access to the kitchen on weekends. The Head Cook has an optional 2 paid sick days during the season.
