Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Program Manager to participate in all aspects of education program development and growth. Reporting to the Vice President of Education, the Program Manager will:
- Work with the Vice President of Education to support, strengthen and grow existing programs, especially the Half-Earth Educator Ambassador Program.
- Engage with the Educator Ambassador network, and broader education community through email, social media, newsletters, and blogposts.
- Develop new programs and strategies in response to assessment of community needs and priority direction from executive management, including a focus on diversity.
- Manage and coordinate the activity of a team of Master Ambassadors in the creation of curriculum materials in an editorial process that includes: formative assessment, research, outlining, writing, field-testing, and publication.
- Support the production of education-focused videochats and other media to complement curricula and various communication channels of the Foundation.
- Contribute to website development, in particular contributing and managing content on the education pages.
- Develop and support partnerships that include professional societies, education-focused organizations, and conservation organizations that strengthen our programs, and extend reach and impact, particularly focused on developing state-wide networks.
- Manage and participate in educational workshops and institutes in person and online.
- Collaborate with Foundation staff, to support and benefit from fund-raising efforts and broader communications and engagement activities.
- Work with the VP of Education and the Foundation team to develop new educational programs and activities in addition to the Educator Ambassador Program.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in education, environmental, or life science
- 5 years applied education and/or program management experience
- Experience using social media, blogposts, newsletters, and other means of shortform communications in an organizational setting.
- Demonstrated long-form writing and editing skills, in particular for curriculum.
- Significant oral presentation experience, in classroom and public settings
- Facility with common software such as Word, Excel, Google tools, and video conferencing and recording tools.
- Ability to acquire new skills quickly to support website development and updates, manage videos, documents, workflow, and communications.
- Experience as an educator or working with educators in an informal or formal educational setting strongly desired.
- Educational background or work experience in conservation, biology, environmental science, digital mapping, or curriculum development strongly desired.

Compensation Information
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually dependent upon the qualifications and experience of the hired candidate. In addition, the E.O. Wilson Biodiversity Foundation offers an outstanding benefits package that includes:
