Zoo Knoxville's Education Department is seeking a team-oriented, self-motivated curriculum writer to work with the other program coordinators to research, develop and write curriculum for all of the department's programs. Much of our curriculum is on a rotating schedule and must be redesigned annually. This position will also involve marketing the department both internally and externally and some teaching.

Summary

The Education Instructional Coordinator is a full-time position that will primarily be responsible for writing curriculum, teaching programs and marketing educational programs. The position will support the Education Department’s mission to create opportunities for learning to inspire and empower action for wildlife and wild places and our vision to create conservation leaders. Candidates should have teaching, curriculum writing and marketing experience and be familiar with best practices in all three.

Compensation Information

$15-$16.48 dependent on experience. Benefits include health, life, dental, vision, optional short and long-term disability, accident, retirement plan, sick, personal and paid leave.
