Summary
This is an exciting time at Wonder Gardens! With a new master plan and strategic plan, we are on the pathway to AZA accreditation. Our small staff has a big reach and impact!
We are seeking a talented and dedicated educator who has an authentic desire and proven ability to lead groups of children and adults of all ages, cultures, and abilities in educational and volunteer activities and who demonstrates a commitment to the conservation of biodiversity, environmental quality, and natural resources.
A successful candidate will have well-developed focus, emotional intelligence, and empathy along with strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communications, public speaking, teaching, and writing skills are a must! We use Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, Canva, Volgistics, and Zoom.
Job responsibilities include leading tours, programs, and day camps; engaging guests with our plants and animals; helping to recruit and train volunteers; assisting with the park's interpretive signs; writing newsletters, emails, activity plans, and more!
