Summary
Earth to Sky is excited to announce that we are hiring a full time position to coordinate our efforts for the two upcoming solar eclipses on October 14, 2023 and April 8, 2024. Earth to Sky is an interagency partnership to bridge the gap between the wealth of NASA science and the interpretation community. In this dynamic position, you will:
- Help eclipse planning teams at NASA, NPS, USFWS, and other federal, state, and local land management organizations stay in great communication with each other;
- Offer training to interpreters and informal educators featuring NASA eclipse resources;
- Provide a key coordination role at major eclipse events featuring a NASA presence;
- And more!
This NASA contractor position has the option to be fully remote from anywhere in the contiguous United States or to be based at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD with telework flexibility. Funding for this position is secure through July 2024; we can discuss extension possibilities with candidates.
