Summary

Bellevue State Park in Wilmington, Delaware is a former DuPont family estate with vast grounds, gardens and stately buildings. This park is an oasis for nature lovers in a growing urban area.

Day Camp Counselors are responsible for organizing and supervising camp activities and ensuring campers' well-being. Assistant Camp Directors are responsible for planning and coordinating activities for summer camps and assists with the supervision of campers, camp staff and the camp program to ensure and maintain a fun, positive and safe camp environment.

Essential functions:

  • Develops and conducts environmental education and recreational programs 
  • Oversees programs and camps during summer months 
  • Assists with programming 
  • Assists with various tasks to enhance and promote the park.
  • **Assistant Directors Only: Supervises summer staff and volunteers, coordinates schedules, trainings, programs for staff

Compensation Information

Day Camp Counselor rate: $13.00/hr

Assistant Camp Director rate: $14.00/hr
