Serve as a Community Volunteer Ambassador (CVA) at a National Park! CVAs serve at National Park sites nationwide (including U.S. territories) to support Volunteer-in-Parks programs through capacity building and community outreach. There are currently 42 open CVA positions (see list below).

Summary

These opportunities allow young adults to gain valuable on-the-ground experience with the National Park Service, develop leadership and management skills, advance their resume, and much more.

Compensation Information

All CVAs recieve $600/week living allowance (additional $150/week provided for positions that do not include housing).

CVAs are also eligible for health insurance (at no cost to CVA), professional development funds ($1,200), the AmeriCorps Education Award ($6,895) and Public Land Corps Hiring Authority upon completion of their service.
