Summary
Communications and Relationships Manager Opportunity: The Communications and Relationships Manager will strengthen communications and relationships with our members and donors, cultivate positive relationships for future growth, increase organizational capacity, and grow AEOE’s network to increase our impact, reach, and representation across California. The employee will work remotely/predominately from home. Occasional travel (no more than 5% of your time on average) within the state of California is required. Actual work schedule is flexible and negotiable, with an average of 20 hours of work per week. We are willing to work with the right candidate to determine a schedule that works best for both parties, whether it varies from week to week based on needs and availability or is predetermined. Some availability during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm) is expected for meetings and outreach (the large majority of which will be conducted online). This part-time position reports directly to the Executive Director. As a new position it has the potential to strengthen AEOE’s brand and directly influence the future of AEOE’s communications and relationship-building efforts.
