This isn’t your average preschool job.

Building Blocks Preschool has teachers who have been with the program for 20 years. There are also teachers who started here as children and came back as interns once they were old enough. That is a true testament to how special Building Blocks Preschool is.

You’re joining a tight-knit team that supports each other, and genuinely loves coming to work. Our families are involved, our classrooms are alive, and our “outdoor classroom” extends all the way to the trails at Highland State Recreation Area — where enjoying sunshine and exploring nature with curious kids is literally part of the job.

What Makes Building Blocks Different

Reggio-Inspired, emergent curriculum — we follow the children’s interests, not a script
Nature-based learning on-site and on the trails at Highland State Recreation Area

Michigan Green School Certified at the Evergreen level since 2011.
