The Grassroots Leadership Director oversees the training, guidance, and support of volunteer Broadband Leaders. (Broadbands are women-led grassroots chapters, with 40+ across the country.) They are responsible for providing researched, high quality, grassroots training and support as they work to protect public lands and the climate through education, advocacy, and stewardship, all embodied in Broads’ brand of fun.

The Grassroots Leadership Program (GLP) supports the organization’s mission by training, supporting, and engaging women as grassroots leaders and advocates for public lands and wild places. The Grassroots Leadership Director oversees the coordination and administration of all aspects of the Grassroots Leadership Program by creatively managing the program to support our strategic plan; updating best practices and grassroots organizing strategies, supervising staff, and facilitating all program activities.

Compensation Information

Salary range is $60,000 – $67,000 based on experience.
