The Director of the Pratt Education Center is an integral part of the KDWP Education Section team overseeing operations of the agency museum and associated education/nature center. Located at the Operations Headquarters for KDWP, it provides the opportunity for the successful applicant to conduct education and outreach programming, care for live animal exhibits and become an important part of the community,educating the public on the wildlife and other outdoors resources available in our state.

Summary

The Pratt Education Center Director (Position #K0233957 oversees development and implementation of public wildlife education programs, serves as a liaison with the surrounding community for the historical and current aspects of wildlife education available, cares for live display animals and animal program ambassadors, provide accurate and relevant information through oral and written communications. Compensation Information

Beginning hourly rate of $25.11/hr; immediate group health and life insurance coverage; retirement; optional deferred compensation, dental and vision options; holidays; and sick, vacation and parental leave
