The Campus School Programs Manager is a full-time member of the professional education team. The Manager’s primary roles and responsibilities focus on: implementing the strategic vision of the School Overnight Program (SOP), supporting the Education for Environment and Community (EEC) Graduate Program, and supervising the SOP team.

This position supervises Program Coordinators, Staff Instructors, and Substitute Educators. This role will also provide occasional support for some of the elements of the Community Education and Summer Camp programs.

PRIMARY AREAS OF OVERSIGHT

Curricular training, development, and documentation for all instructional staff and partner schools
SOP budget
Workforce planning and scheduling for SOP instructors and coordinators
Observation and feedback for instructional staff
Collaboration with EEC staff for graduate student training and delivery of SOP
Collaboration with Communications staff for SOP information provided to all
Collaboration with Facilities staff for maintenance and safety issues
Collaboration with Accounting staff for budget topics
Collaboration with the Registrar for school forms and documents
Collaboration with other departments as needed
Evaluation of SOP impacts
Resides on-site and is on-call (may be off-site nearby) for evenings with programming
Prioritization and project management of all SOP areas

Work Schedule:       Monday thru Friday; 9 – 5 with ~some evenings and weekend coverage. 

Work Location:        On-site - Bainbridge Island Campus

Paid Time off annual benefit:

Remote Work:                 

IslandWood provides some flexibility to work remotely 1 day per week based on position, organization’s needs and employee’s performance, however during the first 6-months of employment it is expected that all work will be performed on-site.  Full-time remote work is not an option as this position is responsible for full oversight of on-campus school programs.

Compensation Information

Pay Range:                $28.00 -$31.25/hour ($58,000-$65,000/year) + flat rate of $25/on-call day with regular hourly wage for any in person response

Housing:                   On-campus private housing option is available at $700/month. On-campus housing is not required, but manager must live nearby to be able to respond to on-call needs.
