Lead joyful, nature-based learning experiences that inspire curiosity, connection, and confidence in children. As Camp & Field Trip Director with Wild Roots Nature Based Learning, you’ll design and oversee programs that blend Montessori philosophy, environmental education, and hands-on exploration. You’ll collaborate with passionate educators, community partners, and local parks to create meaningful outdoor experiences while helping expand Wild Roots’ mission across Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is a creative, purpose-driven leadership role for someone who thrives in both nature and community.

Summary

Wild Roots Nature Based Learning (Fort Wayne, Indiana) is hiring a Camp & Field Trip Director to lead joyful, nature-rich learning experiences inspired by Montessori philosophy. This full-time, year-round role includes leading our signature summer and seasonal half-day camps, developing new field trip programs, and collaborating with educators and community partners. The ideal candidate is an experienced, equity-minded leader passionate about outdoor experiential learning and inclusive education.

Compensation Information

  • Salary Range: $35,000 – $50,000 annually, depending on experience and education.
