Summary
The Associate Director for CSU Mountain Campus (MTC) provides supervision, leadership, financial management, administrative oversight, evaluation, crisis, emergency and risk management for an active seasonal CSU Mountain Campus operation. This includes the conference center and a comprehensive academic and research facility in a remote mountain setting. The Associate Director carries out and contributes to the strategic growth of a well-respected collegiate program. The management and leadership for the daily operations is a critical component of this position. Collaborative relationships with internal and external partners are important to the success of the Mountain Campus. Academic, educational, research, and sustainable programs are provided in collaboration with Warner College of Natural Resources (WCNR) faculty, and other CSU faculty for summer field courses as well as the environmental and outdoor education program Eco Week in partnership with the Poudre School District and City of Fort Collins. The Associate Director oversees a staff of 2 full-time professionals and 30 seasonal staff during the MTC season.

To be successful in this position the Associate Director must have a passion for leadership and staff development, strong business acumen, excellent skills in interpersonal and written communication, detail oriented organizational skills, and a strong background in administration and supervision. The Associate Director is a spokesperson for the university in their connections with clients, a leader within Housing & Dining Services and Student Affairs and maintains important liaison relationships with a broad array of university offices and community resources.
The Associate Director must be willing to work outside of the standard university business hours on a regular basis during the summer conference and Mountain Campus seasons. The individual carries out their responsibilities under the supervision of the Director of Conference and Event Services and Mountain Campus.

Compensation Information
Proposed Annual Salary Range $80,000-$90,000
