Summary
Assists the Growing Sprouts Teacher with daily classroom tasks and routines, and under the direction of the Teacher, participates in planning and implementing age-appropriate nature-themed activities, other curriculum, and game activities for participants 3 to 5 years of age. Supervises children closely to ensure their health and safety. Establishes a nurturing relationship with the children and their families. Serves as an appropriate role model to the students. Assists in maintaining necessary records and reports pertaining to those children enrolled in the program. Assists the Teacher in maintaining an organized and neat classroom. Sanitizes tables, toys and equipment. Assists with cleaning up materials and supplies from the day. Attends meetings, training sessions and other Growing Sprouts programs and events that take place outside of normally scheduled hours, as requested.
We are looking to fill the following hours:
M/W/F 9 AM-1 PM
M/W/F 9 AM-4:30 PM
M/W/F 11:45 AM-4:30 PM
T/TH 9 AM - 1 PM
These hours could be filled by one person or multiple people, depending on each applicant's availability. The class runs September 2-May 22 and has the usual school breaks for holidays etc... We run a summer camp, so there is an option to work during the summer as well, if that is something you would be interested in.

Compensation Information
This job falls in paygrade PT3. The target hiring range for this position is $15.50 - $17.50 depending on qualifications.
