Join us at Up Yonda Farm Environmental Education Center this summer and assist the educational staff in crafting and delivering environmental education content in the mountains above Lake George.

Summary

Warren County is seeking an Assistant Naturalist to work with the Naturalists on programming processes as well as grounds/trail maintenance at the Up Yonda Farm Environmental Education Center. This is a great opportunity to spend the summer assisting with environmental program preparation/presentation, demonstrations on ecology, natural resources and environmental conservation as well as trail maintenance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and: a) Twenty-four (24) credit hours of coursework from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university, or

b) One year of full-time paid experience (or its part time or volunteer equivalent) in a position involving conservation, environmental education or other natural science work.
