Summary

Immediate opening for an AmeriCorps Farm-to-School Coordinator at Green Mountain Farm-to-School in Newport, Vermont. The position works with a team to lead the Farm-to-School programs in multiple schools across the NEK of Vermont working with students K-8th grade in hands-on programming on gardening, cooking, nutrition lessons, Farm Field trips, and developed lessons for the classroom. Available to start immediately and commit to serving until August 2, 2024, for a 1,700-hour term of Service with AmeriCorps/GMFTS. The position offers subsidized housing, a Cost of Living Stipend of $22,100.00 for the year, Healthcare, set rate Mileage Reimbursement, and an Educational Award of $7395.00 at the end of service, an Automobile Equity Scholarship of $600.00, and many training opportunities.

Compensation Information

AmeriCorps Members who complete their term of service in a full-time position will receive:

  • A biweekly stipend totaling approximately $22,100 for the year
