Summary
Environmental Educator – Growing Gardens (March 2–October 30, 2026)
Growing Gardens is seeking a seasonal Environmental Educator to teach farm-based lessons, lead field trips and summer camps, support goat dairy programming, and engage the community in urban agriculture. This role includes hands-on teaching, curriculum development, fieldwork in the Children’s Peace Garden, and leading the Goats & Gardens Summer Camp. Training includes Ages & Stages, Love & Logic, and more. Compensation ranges from $20.50–$22.50/hr, depending on experience and Spanish language skills, with PTO, paid holidays, and additional farm benefits.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have 460+ hours of experience working with groups of youth (ages 4–18), prior outdoor teaching experience, the ability to work in all weather, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Background check required. Bilingual applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

Compensation Information
Pay: $20.50 - $22.50 Depending on experience and Spanish language abilities Paid Time Off Benefits:
32 hrs of PTO for the season, in addition to 5 paid holidays. Paid Sick Leave accrues at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, max of 48 hours.
